Star Trek SONGS

Enterprise

The theme song used in the opening credits of Enterprise was originally written by Diane Warren and used in the Robin Williams film Patch Adams. This version was titled "Faith of the Heart" and was sung by Rod Stewart.

For Enterprise, British vocalist Russell Watson was brought in to re-record "Faith of the Heart," which has been retitled as "Where My Heart Will Take Me" for its use with the Enterprise series. An extended version of "Where My Heart Will Take Me" appears on Watson's second album, Encore. Both the extended and original versions of "Where My Heart Will Take Me" appear on the Enterprise soundtrack album. A slightly revised version of the theme was created for Enterprise's third season.
